David and I rode our bikes out to my brother's place for the celebration this evening. It was really nice to ride with my hubby - but I will admit that I asked him to reign it in just a little. He's very speedy!
We rode 6.5 miles out, had our fun, and rode home under the "bombs" bursting in air. A GIANT thank you to my brother, who left his car here and drove our van both ways for us - AND - my sister in law who kept the older kids late and brought them home so we could get the Little ones home and to sleep.
Nice day for it - my face is a little red, but it will be better by morning. Happy Independence Day!!
